Dear Parishioners of St. Joseph,
Today we celebrate the highest feast day of the Church year, but we celebrate it in a way that is not at all in the way that we would like. Another week of social distancing means that we cannot come together as one for the most solemn feast day of the year. Hopefully this time of distance will not last much longer. I would like to share with you the gospel and homily for this Easter Sunday…
Also, please be sure to pray the entirety of the Mass with Bishop Barron at the following link…
Easter is the day on which we are given the supreme hope: the victory of life over death, goodness over evil, light over darkness. As we celebrate this feast apart, let us always remember that the Lord draws us together spiritually in ways that go deeper than physical proximity.
“The Lord is risen! He is truly risen! Alleluia!”
